National Horticulture Mission (N.H.M.) is a centrally sponsored scheme launched by Govt. of India. During the XI Plan, the Govt. of India assistance will be 85% with 15% contribution by the State Governments. Under the Scheme, a cluster based approach was adopted.

The NHM is being implemented by the State Horticulture Mission of which the Mission Director is responsible for coordinating the programme.

The District Horticulture officer is the Member Secretary of the DLC, who may be contacted for availing the assistance. At the district level, the District level Committee is responsible for implementing the programme.
